Publishing Three Books in a day is a Great Achievement

THINAKURAL
Book launch of three books at Jaffna Veerasingam Hall

I have seen many people who struggle to pronounce Tamil words. It is a great achievement to publish three books, in such a situation in the world. The Consul General made this remark during his address as the Chief Guest at the book launch of three books namely “Uyar Thanich Chemmozhi (Unique Classical Language), Grammar of Literature of Tamils, Thirukkural, and Poems of Avvaiyar written by Mr.NV.Kumariventhan, the founder of Sri Lanka Kumari Tamil Forum.

The event was held at Jaffna Veerasingam Hall last Sunday, and it was presided over by Mr.S.Laleesan, Deputy Principal of Kopay Teachers; Training College. The Excerpt of the speech of Mr.Natarajan, the CG of India in Jaffna is given below.

Like the precious gems found in the Sabaragamuwa province, there are great writers and intellectuals in Jaffna. I have seen many people who struggle to pronounce Tamil words. In such a world now, the service of Mr.N.V.Kumariventhan of publishing three books in Tamil is highly commendable. The author has changed his original name from Mahendrarajah to Kumariventhan in pure Tamil. As he belongs to the beautiful Delft islet of Jaffna, lots of participants are here. We are able to listen to the great speeches of learned people of Jaffna. More and more learned people should come forward to author new books, and in their book launch events, we will be able to listen to worthy Tamil speeches by the intellectuals here.
