1. 1.It has been decided that Consular and Visa Services will be rendered by Consulate General of India, Jaffna on public holidays and weekends. The applications for the said services would be received at the Consulate between 1400 hrs. to 1600 hrs., only by prior appointment on the mobile number +94-0773238986.

3. 2. Emergency Visa applications on weekends and public holidays would be received at the Consulate between 1400 hours to 1600 hours only by prior appointment on production of confirmed flight ticket for urgent travel at the time of application.

5. 3. Emergency Visa is only issued in case of genuine emergency like death or serious illness of immediate family member (blood relation).
