Celebration of the 139th Birth Anniversary of India’s National Poet Mahakavi Subramaniya Bharathiyar

1. The 139th birth anniversary of India’s National Poet Mahakavi Subramaniya Bharathiyar was celebrated this morning (December 11, 2021). Consul General Raakesh Natraj garlanded and paid floral tributes to the Poet’s statue at Arasady Junction in Jaffna. Northern Provincial Council Chairman Mr. C V K Sivagnanam and Jaffna Mayor V.Manivannan along with Jaffna Municipal Commissioner garlanded the statue of Subramaniya Bharathiyar and paid floral tributes.
