Celebrations of the 152nd Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

1. The Consulate General of India in Jaffna celebrated the 152nd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi today (2nd October 2021). The celebrations were held following the COVID-19 guidelines. Consul General Raakesh Natraj Jayabhaskaran garlanded and paid floral tributes at the Gandhi statue at Cargills Square, Jaffna. Hon’ble Northern Provincial Council Chairman Mr. C V K Sivagnanam, Hon’ble Mayor V. Manivannan, Jaffna Municipal Commissioner and All Ceylon Gandhi Seva Sangam Assistant Secretary Ms.Shivaramya garlanded the Gandhi statue and paid floral tributes.
