Consul General visited Muslim Maha Vidyalayam and Poovarasankulam Maha Vidyalayam in Vavuniya

1. Consul General Balachandran visited Muslim Maha Vidyalayam and Poovarasankulam Maha Vidyalayam in Vavuniya on 4th February, 2021 to inspect the progress in the Indian-aided class room buildings under construction in these two schools. He was received by the Principals of the schools. He planted a sapling at Muslim Maha Vidyalayam to mark his visit. While the Muslim Maha Vidyalayam has eight class rooms in a two storeyed building under the Indian grant-in-aid, the Poovarasankulam school has ten class rooms also in a two storeyed building. Both buildings are expected to be handed over to the respective schools shortly.
