1. The 89th Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, former President of India was celebrated this morning (October 15, 2020) with Consul General Balachandran garlanding and paying floral tributes to his statue at the India Corner, Jaffna Public Library. Consulate officials, the Chief Librarian, Library officials and patrons of the Library also joined in paying the floral tributes.
