The Consulate General of India in Jaffna hereby wishes to inform the public that, with effect from Monday, the 2nd September, 2013, M/s. IVS Lanka Private Limited(hereinafter service provider) would be accepting applications for Indian visa, passport, Overseas Citizenship of India(OCI) Certificate/Card and Consular Services, like attestation of documents, etc., at their following premises:

The applicants can also avail of services, like form filling(online), photocopy, photograph, courier, etc., which are optional in nature.
2. A person desirous of getting an Indian visa may also apply online by visiting http://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/ and, with the print copy of the application, may visit the above service provider for completing further formalities to obtain visa.
3. Further, services like Overseas Citizenship of India(OCI) Certificate/Card for eligible persons of Indian origin and passports for Indian nationals who are ordinarily residing in Northern Province of Sri Lanka, are also provided by the Consulate for which an applicant may approach the above service provider for completing the formalities relating to such services. An eligible person desirous of getting an Overseas Citizenship of India(OCI) Certificate/Card may also apply online by visiting http://passport.gov.in/oci/ . Similarly, an Indian national desirous of getting a passport may also apply online by visiting http://passport.gov.in/nri . Thereafter, they may, with the print copy of the application, visit the above service provider for completing further formalities and transmitting the application to the Consulate for further processing.
4. The timings for application/collection will be as follows:
Submission of applications : 0830-1400 hrs
Collection of passports / documents : 1630-1730 hrs.
