Mr.S.D.Moorthy,ACG gifted a set of books to Librarians of Kondavil and Analaitivu Public Libraries.

PRESS RELEASE

            Mr. S.D. Moorthy, Acting Consul General of India in Jaffna gifted a set of books to Ms. K. Anita, Librarian of Kondavil Public Library and Mrs. S.Tharmila, Librarian of Analaitivu Public Library.  Both these libraries recently won special awards from Government of Sri Lanka. In appreciation of these libraries winning the special awards in a simple function at the premises of Consulate General of India in Jaffna on 18.11.2014, the books were handed over to them.  Acting Consul General congratulated the officials and appreciated their good work and hoped that they would be keeping on winning the awards every year. 

            Apart from the Libararians of both the libraries Mrs. S. Kayalvili the Development officer for Libraries under the Nallur Pradeshiya Sabha was also present.

            Consulate General of India would also be gifting a set of books to Mullaitivu Manthai Public Library and Mannar Nanattan Public library who have also won special awards from Government of Sri Lanka.  Consulate General of India earlier has gifted a set of books Jaffna Public Library recently which was adjudged as the best Library in Sri Lanka.
